In response to your requests, we’ve brought one of Brickmania’s most popular kits of all time back into production.
The SdKfz 124 Leichte Feldhaubitz 18/2 auf Fahrgesetll PzKpfw II, or simply “Wespe” (Wasp), was a mobile armored 10.5 cm howitzer produced by Germany during 1943 and 1944 and saw action in the famous tank battle of Kursk and remained operational throughout the end of the war. See Achtung! Panzer for more info and pictures of the Wespe in action.
This model is a remake of the original Brickmania Wespe kit from 2002, but in the new light gray color and a few minor parts updates. This is one of the handful of Brickmania kits that have sold over 500 units, making it one of the most popular Brickmania models of all time!
Additional information about this Brickmania custom Lego® kit:
This model is built using genuine new-condition Lego and BrickArms MG 42 machine gun. Highlights of this kit include:
- Realistic elevation and traverse of the gun

- Open fighting compartment can hold 2-3 figures
- Includes a BrickArms MG42 machine gun for close-in defense
- Realistic minifig scaling (approximately 1:35) to match other Brickmania kits
- Over-all color is light gray.
Minifigs are not included, but are available HERE. Below is a gallery of Wespe models, including the original kit from 2002.
